On November 14, the territory of the Special Economic Zone Pavlodar was visited by a Chinese delegation from Shanxi province.
Shanxi possesses 260 billion metric tons of known coal deposits – about a third of the total reserves of China, the area of the coal basin is 40% of the entire province. As a result, Shanxi is China’s leading coal producer and has more coal companies than any other province, with an annual output of more than 300 million metric tons.
Chinese guests spoke positively about the work of the SEZ and the investment climate of the Pavlodar region as a whole.
In addition, the guests expressed a desire in the near future to organize a visit of potential investors from Shanxi province for a more detailed discussion of further mutually beneficial cooperation.
