SEZ Pavlodar visited the economic zone of the Gwangyang Bay region in order to discuss measures to develop cooperation between these two zones and the industrial tour of the Gwangyang Bay region.
On Monday, the Chairman of the Board of the Special Economic Zone Pavlodar, with whom a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in April this year with the Department of the Free Economic Zone of the Gwangyang Bay Region, visited the Department of the Free Economic Zone of the Gwangyang Bay Region.
Officials led by the Chairman of the Management Board, Albek Nesipbekov, arrived at the Office for the Creation of a Free Economic Zone of the Gwangyang Bay Area and discussed ways to develop cooperation with the Office for the creation of a free economic zone of the Gapyang Bay Area. On the second floor of the Office of the Free Economic Zone of the Gwangyang Bay Area, Mr. Nesipbekov introduced the investment opportunities of the SEZ Pavlodar to the participants of the free economic zone.
SEZ Pavlodar is the ninth special economic zone of Kazakhstan, which was created by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2011.
SEZ Pavlodar attracts foreign companies as the main strategic partners of the petrochemical and metal processing industries. In the afternoon, we visited GS Caltex and the POSCO Gwangyang Steelworks factory in Yeosu National Industrial Complex for an industrial tour.
Kim Gapsop, Chairman of the Board of the Gwangyang Free Economic Zone, said: “We hope that this visit to the Gwangyang Bay area by SEZ Pavlodar officials will become an opportunity for developing friendly relations between the two organizations of the economic zone.”
